Joining the orchestra
From our previous concerts page you will see that we perform a wide range of orchestral music, often requiring a large orchestra. There are always vacancies for good string players. The range of music means that vacancies can also arise in the wind, brass and percussion sections.
If you are interested in performing good music to a good standard, please contact the secretary Agnes Mackay with details of your instrument, standard of playing and orchestral background.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings and some Sunday afternoons to a pre-determined schedule, see the rehearsals page. The Tuesday rehearsals start at 7.00pm. The Sunday rehearsals start at 2.00pm.
